Our standards

Information you can inspect.

Sources, dates and a clear distinction between reporting, claims and commercial interests.

Sources and attribution

Material product facts should link to dated evidence and the applicable model, version or region. Manufacturer claims remain attributed. Unknowns and disagreements remain visible.

Automated editorial

The proposed system uses automation for monitoring, research, writing and maintenance. Publication depends on defined evidence checks; automation alone does not establish a fact.

Reviews and practical guidance

Original testing, external review synthesis and manufacturer statements are labelled separately. Practical engineering guidance requires qualified evidence.

Corrections and updates

Corrections identify what changed. Release histories preserve relevant earlier versions. A page update is not a claim that every specification was reverified.

Commercial independence

News and basic directory inclusion remain free. Advertising, sponsorship and affiliate links must be clearly identified. Payment does not buy verification, rankings or favourable coverage.

Images and illustrations

Use permissioned images with credits or clearly labelled original graphics. Product illustrations do not represent photographs or evidence of testing.
